Business needs dictate that myself and a comrade from the wacky world of professional web design undertake a transcontinetal journey to visit and pitch our solution to a prospective’s client’s development needs.
So here we are, Stamford, Connecticut. I’ve never been a big fan of the East Coast (perhaps with the exception of Boston, which is a pretty damn cool place), but we’re here for about 24 hours and we’ve got to make the most of it. Lots of brick buildings everywhere (I guess they don’t have earthquakes over here…), and generally a pretty industrial looking town. And there’s no mountains anywhere…just an abbreviated horizon demarcated by low rolling hills and the ever-present green forest stuff that’s all over the midwest and the east coast. Kinda disconcerting for a Cali boy accustomed to big horizons and distant vistas, but whatever. Now I am realizing again why everyone moved out west….hehehe
