Just came across [url=http://www.danb.dircon.co.uk/hg/hg.htm]Flight Club[/url], an insanely cool Java applet that lets you do thermal soaring via your web browser. You race a number of other gliders across a wireframe terrain towards a goal line 100km distant. Very impressively implemented, and quite well done. Check it!
