Apparently following national trends, we enjoyed a carfree Memorial Day holiday weekend. The Wike trailer is working out great:
Saturday we took the kids to breakfast at Judge For Yourself, then up to the Museum of Natural History to see the new Giants dinosaur exhibit. Afterwards we went to an early dinner a 42 Via Maestra in San Roque, then home for a well-earned rest (mostly for me LOL). Approximately 10 miles RT.
Sunday we took them to MyGym on Upper State in the morning, and then to the Zoo and afterwards to El Torito. Approximately 15 miles RT.
Monday I took them to Shoreline Park (8 miles RT) and then, with Tessa, to Isla Vista to meet with some friends whose daughter is considering coming to UCSB. This was our biggest trip at 30 miles round trip (and 38 miles total for me).
So, over 60 miles of trailer hauling in 3 days… man I’m a little bit beat, and really feeling like gears would be a good idea. Like, yeah!!
