I finally hooked up with the crew from SBFixed.com for one of their weekly Wednesday rides. It was so much fun! We met at the train station, hung out for a bit, then rode out to IV to play basketball at the outdoor courts near the Rec Cen. The team I was on won 2-for-2, woot my junior high basketball “skills” really paid off. It didn’t hurt that I was taller than almost everyone else, either LOL
Afterwards, more chilling then a nice ride back home downtown. The Cross Check was riding great, the Busch & Mueller dynamo headlight put out tons of light on the Obern Trail and was awesome. I’m totally ready for randonneuring with this setup, so easy and pleasureful to ride.
Huge thanks to my wife for letting me loose for the evening. What a blast!!
